Boy: And so?

Girl: I really did.

Boy: okay.

Girl: I’m sorry.

Boy: What for?

Girl: For ignoring your efforts to communicate with me.

Boy: It’s Ok. I got used to it, then I got tired, so I stopped trying and started forgetting.

Boy: I got used to days hoping you’d be back, but then you never did. I started facing reality, and started to get a move on.

Girl: To court you?

Boy: You know, I’ve always wanted to hear that from you. Back then, a years ago. But…I got used to only wishing for it…then realized it would never happen, so I stopped hoping.

BOY: That’s not possible. I have got someone in my life…

Girl: It is great for you… Who is she? When I’ll meet her?

BOY: She doesn’t want to meet you any day.

Girl: Why? What I have done to her?

Boy slowly replied )-She just don’t want to meet the one who did hurt me the most… It is my turn to say sorry. Time got into me. You’ve broken my heart already. I can’t risk experiencing that again. Thank you anyway. For communicating with me after a years of silence…

She kept her head down and went silently.

Boy: Hey babe.. What took you so long?

Boy: Hello Girls mom: ( crying ) son, I have to tell you something I am in the hospital right now my daughter just passed out.

Girls mom: ( crying ) she was in a car crash a “hour ago” she did not make it.
Boy: “shocked” looks at his girl.

Three months later, the boy had a change of heart. He realized that he really loved the girl, so he went back to her and said, “Give me one more chance. I love you and I need you. I will never hurt you anymore. ”

A Boy proposed his Girl-friend for Marriage..;

Girl: Tell me..; Who do you love most in this world..?

Boy: You, of course!

Girl: What am I to you?

The boy thought for a moment and looked intently in her eyes and said “You are missing part of my heart”.

She smiled, and she accepted his proposal. After their wedding, the couple had a sweet and happy life for a while.

However, the youthful couple began to drift apart due to the busy schedule of life and the never-ending worries of daily problems, their life became difficult. All the challenges posed by the harsh realities of life began to drift away their dreams and love for each other. The couple began to have more quarrels and each quarrel became make their relation more worst.
One day, after the quarrel, the girl ran out of the house. At the opposite side of the road, she shouted, “You don’t love me…!” The boy hated her childishness and out of impulse, said, “May be, it was a mistake for us to be together…!” You were never the missing part of my ____!!!” Suddenly, she turned quiet and stood there for a long, while she regretted what he said but words spoken can’t be taken back. With tears in her eyes, she went home to pack her things and before leaving the house, she left a note for him..; “If I’m really not the missing part of your love, let me go and search for someone who is…… It is less painful this way… let us go on our separate ways and search for our own partners…!”

Five years went by…. He never remarried but he had tried to find out about her life indirectly. She had left the country and was living her dreams. He use to regret on what he did but never tried to bring her back. In the dark and lonely night, he lit his cigarette and felt the lingering ache in his heart. He couldn’t bring himself to admit that he was missing her.

One day, they finally met, at the airport, He was going away on a business trip. He saw her, she was standing there alone, with just the security door separating them. She smiled at him gently. Boy: How are you..? Girl: I’m fine. How about you.., have you found your heart’s missing part…? Boy: No. Girl: I’ll be flying to New York in the next flight. Boy: I’ll be back in 2 weeks’ time. Give me a call when you are back, you know my number, Nothing has changed. With a smile, she turned around and waved good-bye. “Good-bye . . .”

Same evening he heard of a plane crash which was headed to New York. He tried to know about her and found that, she died. Midnight… Once again, he lit his cigarette… And like before, he felt the lingering ache in his heart. He finally knew, she was that missing part that he had carelessly broken…!!!

Girl: You think? I think you must be mistaken.

Girl: I don’t think you like me. I think you like the company. I think you like the conversations we have. I think you like that someone listens. You like the feeling that someone is always there for you. But should you remove me from the equation and place someone else in my spot, you would feel the same way. So you see, you like the feeling but not ME.

Girl: Would you do me a favour?

Boy: Anything

Girl: I want you to close your eyes and imagine the following. Imagine yourself in 10 years. I want you to imagine how you look in 10 years. What kind of clothes will you wear. I want you to imagine where you will be working in 10 years. I want you to imagine your family and how they look. I want you to imagine your future car. I want you to imagine your kids on a Saturday afternoon as they play in the backyard. I want you to imagine their first bike ride. I want you to get it all in there. Imagine your house, furniture, everything. I want you to imagine your life.

Okay can you see it all in front of you?

Boy: yeah, I see it.

Girl: Now, did you see me anywhere in there?

Boy: yes I did.

Girl: and where would that be?

Boy: Well, obviously you were right there with the kids…after all you are their mother!!!!

 A Heart Melting Story 

10th grade

As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. Shen was my so called “best friend”. I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn’t notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and I handed them to her. She said “thanks” and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I wanted to tell her, I wanted her to know that I don’t want to be just friends, I love her but I’m Just too shy, and I don’t know why…

11th grade

The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broken her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn’t want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said “thanks” and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I wanted to tell her, I wanted her to know that I don’t want to be just friends, I love her but I’m Just too shy, and I don’t know why…

Senior year

The day before prom she walked to my locker. My date is sick” she said; he’s not going to go well, I didn’t have a date, and in 7th grade. We made a promise that if neither of us had dates we would go together just as “best friends”. So we did. Prom night, after everything was over. I was standing at her front door step. I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn’t think of me like that, and I knew it. Then she said-Shad the best time, “thanks!’ and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I wanted to tell her, I wanted her to know that I don’t want to be just friends. I love her but I’m just too shy, and I don’t know why…

Graduation Day

A day passed, then a week, then a month and before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an – angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn’t notice me like that, and I knew it. After everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, “you’re my best friend, thanks” and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I wanted to tell her, I wanted her to know that I don’t want to be just friends, I love her but I’m Just too shy, and I don’t know why…

A Few Years later

Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl Is getting married now… I watched her say “I do” and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn’t see like that, and I knew it. Before she drove away, she came to me and said “you came!”. She said “thanks” and kissed me on the cheek.

I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don’t want to be just friends, I love her but I’m just too shy, and I don’t know why.

Funeral

Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my “best friend”. At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read:

“I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn’t notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don’t want to be just friends, I love him but I’m Just too shy, and I don’t know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! I wish I did too…”

I thought to myself, and I cried.

TRUE LOVE (A Doctor’s note)  

It was approximately 8.30 a.m. on a busy morning when an elderly gentleman in his eighties arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9.00 a.m.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat. I knew it would take more than an hour before someone would to able to attend to him. I saw him check his watch anxiously for the time and decided to evaluate his wound since I was not busy with another patient.

On examination, the wound was well healed. Hence, I talked to one of the doctors to get the supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

We began to engage in a conversation while I was taking care of his wound. I asked him if he had another doctor’s appointment later as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no and said that he needed to go to the nursing home to have breakfast with his wife.

I inquired about her health. He told me that she had been in the nursing home for a while as she was a victim of Alzheimer’s disease. I probed further and asked if she would be upset if he was slightly late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was and she had not been able to recognize him since five years ago.
I asked him in surprise, “And you still go every morning, even though she doesn’t know who you are?”
He smiled as he patted my hand and said, “She doesn’t know me, but I still know who she is.”

I had to hold back my tears as he left.
I had goose bumps on my arm, and I thought, “That is the kind of love I want in my life.”

True love is neither physical nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.

The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hang the wash outside.

That laundry is not very clean, she said, she doesn’t know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap

Her husband looked on, but remained silent.

Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.

About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:

Look! She has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this.

The husband said:
I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows!

And so it is with life:
What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look. Before we give any criticism, it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask ourselves if we are ready to see the good rather than to be looking for something in the person we are about to judge.

Student:”Sir I will explain but 1st answer my questions. “Does the cold exist?”
Professor: Yes.
Student: “You’re wrong sir. There is nothing like cold. It is the complete absence of heat.”

Student asked again,”Does darkness exist?”
Professor: Yes.

Student:”You are again wrong sir. There is nothing like darkness. It is actually the complete absence of light. According to physics we can study light and heat but not darkness and cold. Similarly sir, the evil does not exist.
Actually it is the absence of faith, love and true belief on GOD.”

That student was C.V RAMAN.
So have faith in God.
